The Holy Spirit Intercedes for Believers

It is very encouraging to know that The Holy Spirit prayers for all believers according to the will, plan and purpose of God. Even if we don’t know how to pray, The Holy Spirit knows everything and prays according to the will of God. Hallelujah!

Scripture:

Romans 8:26-27 (NIV)
²⁶  In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.
²⁷  And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will.

Prayer:

Thank You, Holy Spirit, for interceding for me, my family and my church, my community, my nation, the body of Christ globally and the entire universe. Thank You for praying for us in accordance with God’s Complete and Perfect Will. It is so comforting to know that You, Holy Spirit, know exactly how to pray in all circumstances and seasons, even if I’m not sure what to pray for and even how to pray, but You always do! Glory to God! Amen

The Holy Spirit Will Tell Believers about The Future

One of the great functions of the Holy Spirit is He will share with believers what the future holds so we can complete the mission and get ready for Jesus’ return

Scripture:

John 16:13 (NIV)
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, I know Jesus is returning soon. Share with me what I need to know regarding God’s Will today, tomorrow and until Jesus returns – and empower me to walk in obedience to what You show me. My desire is to do everything God has prepared for me, to be faithful, to be really fruitful and bring much glory, honor, praise and delight to You my Heavenly Father in Jesus’ Almighty Name. Amen

Believers Are To Pray in The Holy Spirit on All Occasions

According to the Apostle Paul, believers are encouraged to pray empowered by and filled by and led by the Holy Spirit at all times. In other words, we are to pray in the Holy Spirit always

Scriptures:

Ephesians 6:18 (NIV)
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

Jude 1:20 (NIV)
But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit.

Prayer:

Generous Father, empower all believers globally to pray in the Holy Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. Anoint and empower me, Holy Spirit, with Your Spirit of Intercession and Warfare! I ask for Your help to always pray anointed, directed, guided and empowered by You, Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
