Dear Praying Friends,
You Are A Special Gift From God!
Prayer Watch International has decided to re-post Pastor Bjorn’s blog on Children and Prayer. The purpose of this blog is to encourage believers to pray, to pray more, and to pray much; because with no prayer, there is no power; with some prayer there is some power. But with much prayer, there is much power! Right now, we could all use powerful prayers.
Prayer brings us closer to God and it provides all we need for life in the kingdom of God – including the fulfillment of God’s plans for our lives. Scripture prayers are especially powerful – standing in agreement with what God has spoken!
We’ll start with Scripture passages and brief prayers which can easily be incorporated into our devotional practices.
The First Prayer Topic:
The first prayer topic will be General Prayer For Children, Grandchildren and Family.
In this first prayer segment there will be 31 prayers, one for each day of the week. You may focus on one prayer a day or pray all the prayers at once or something in-between. Use the approach you feel the Holy Spirit is leading you to follow. I encourage you to use each listed prayer as a “spring-board” to your personalized needs or concerns. Let the listed prayer be a focal-point for expanded prayers and worship.
GENERAL SCRIPTURE FOUNDATION FOR THIS TOPIC:
“‘And this is my covenant with them,’ says the Lord. ‘My Spirit will not leave them, and neither will these words I have given you. They will be on your lips and on the lips of your children and your children’s children forever. I, the Lord, have spoken’”
Isaiah 59:21 (NLT)
